Chimney
Caps: We purchase our caps from a professional supply
company. They will protect your chimney from animals and debris
while still allowing normal function of fireplaces. The two styles
of caps we install are black painted galvanized (pictured) and
natural silver stainless steel. Stainless will not rust, while
galvanized eventually will. Chose the type based on the length
of time you will live in your home.<10years> Standard charge
for installation of caps is $150.00 for stainless and $125.00 for
galvanized. |

Chimney
Screens: These are recommended for furnace chimney flues.
Caps have a slight risk of icing up during very cold weather.
Squirrels and birds are the most common invader of these flues,
with the occasional raccoon. There is direct pathway into the
home for an animal that falls down into these through your furnace.
We have also seen animals build nests inside the flue creating
a potentially hazardous condition of carbon monoxide build-up.
These screens are custom made to the specific size of your flue.
They also are a low profile substitute for a cap for those who
prefer it. Standard charge for chimney screens is $75.00 to $95.00 |

Attic
Fan Screens: The most common entry point for animals
getting into attics is attic fans. Raccoons and squirrels are
the leading opportunists. Screens should always be installed exterior
of the fan blades to prevent any future damage or nesting. There
are two styles of screens we custom make for the various types
of fans. The specific style is determined by the type of fan.
The box style will work on any fan, the screen that is installed
below the hood can only be done to certain kinds. (See alternating

Roof
Vent Screens: Common problems associated with roof vents
include nesting birds and entry into attics by squirrels and raccoons.
These screens are standard 12”X12”X4” high,
however there are various sizes of vents that require custom made
screens. The standard charge for installation of roof vent screens
is $30.00 to $35.00 each. |

Stoops, Decks, Sheds, Foundations and Crawlspaces: Many of the wildlife species in our area create
den sites by burrowing under structures. This can become a reoccurring
problem. The only way to prevent this reoccurrence is by burying
a physical barrier below ground. We dig a trench about 12 inches
deep and install a heavy gauge, galvanized wire screen. The screen
is attached to the structure along the top of the screen and then
the trench is back-filled. The screen will resist rusting and
degradation and will provide many years of protection. As always
it comes with our 3 year guarantee against animal intrusion. Price
and availability are based upon obstructions, length, and height
of structure above ground level. Standard charge is $30.00 to
$40.00 per foot.
